Once Upon a Pony Birthday Parties
Transform your child's birthday party into an unforgettable adventure with Once Upon a Pony LLC's home or ranch birthday parties. Our pony-themed parties include pony rides, pony painting, and the option to transform the pony into a unicorn, princess, or knight. With pony delivery to your desired location, we can host parties at farms, barns, or outdoors for a magical experience your child will cherish.
Horse Boarding
Looking for a ranch that offers a variety of amenities for your horse? Look no further! Our ranch has everything your horse needs to thrive, including single or community stalls, a pasture, a creek, an arena, a round pen training area and an obstacle course. Our trainers live on site to provide guidance and support and monitor your horses well being. Our free roam ranch offers plenty of opportunities for your horse to explore different terrain types. With 24/7 hay, a specialized diet available, and feed available twice daily, your horse will be well taken care of. Included in boarding is our barn with electricity, running water and storage for your gear. We also have plenty of shade trees to provide a comfortable and safe environment for your horse to call home.
Photo Shoots
Capture the magic of your special moments with our professional photo shoot services. Whether it's a wedding, birthday, sweet sixteen, graduation, or Quinceanera, we'll help you create memories with our animals that will last a lifetime. Our stunning locations include fairy woods, traditional Texas ranch, rock formations, and creeks, and we even offer the possibility for unicorn photo shoots for a truly unique experience. Horse Training

Holiday Camps
Welcome to our horse camp! We offer a variety of programs to help you learn all about horses, from horse care and horsemanship to riding lessons. Our experienced instructors will guide you through every step of the way, whether you're a beginner or an experienced rider. We also have chickens and donkeys on our farm, and even offer horse painting. With our vacation camp packages we will also be including arts and crafts, one on one riding lessons as well as age appropriate riding experiences. Come join us for a multi day fun and educational experience!
Our pony, horse, and unicorn birthday packages offer a magical experience for your little ones! Each party includes a decoration table adorned with feather boas, hair bows, brushes, stickers and more with which you can decorate our horses with! Our packages include as many rides as we can fit in the amount of time you request. We can also have one pony for decoration and multiples for riding, the choice is yours! Let us help you create the perfect celebration that will leave an impression on you, your child or even your guests!

We can arrange a pony delivery to your door! We can also deliver multiple ponies or horses to your location! Pony delivery charges are on a case by case basis. Please give us a call and we can arrange a quote for you!

* Property size must support the number of horses requested and parking directly at the event must be available for a truck and trailer.
* Parties with over 8 children should book at least 2 ponies, over 15 children 3 ponies or 2 ponies and 1 horse.

* Please check out our pony add on packages, paint a pony, unicorn options, as well as a funny donkey!
*Weight limits on our small pony is 65 pounds maximum,, the white unicorn is 120 pounds
* We can also provide full size horses
* Our mischievous donkey "Sunny" is also available for everything but riding, she is still too young!
Parties at our ranch​
At our ranch, we have shade trees, a creek, and a lot of room to play and to run around. Our party area can seat up to 50 people, this area includes the picnic tables. You can bring your own food and drinks and decorate the area yourself or we can do it for you! We offer many different packages and add ons!

Our Ranch parties have two options! *Reminder: All of our ponies/horses must have a 15 minute break after 1 hour of use.

Parties for over 50 people need to be coordinated before booking a reservation and extra charges will apply.

Add Sunny the Donkey! We let our mischievous donkey cause chaos at your party! You can walk her on your own or defend your cupcakes, presents, cake and decorations! $25 for 1 hour, $40 for 2 hours and $50 for 3 hours.

Holiday Camp "A week of horsing around at the farm" $675 per week
8am-12pm Monday thru Friday (additional times may be available, times may vary). Minimum of 6 years old. Spaces are first come, first serve; please call to reserve your space.

Horse Boarding and Training Amenities $1250 per month:

Your horse will be worked with at least 5 times a week

Owners/Trainers live onsite, upon request we can send frequent video/message updates of your horse and its progress!

Pony time and riding lessons:
We teach you everything you need to know! Lessons are from the first horse meeting to riding off into the sunset alone!

Riding lessons:
60 minutes for $60. We teach everything form basic horsemanship, groundwork. horse care, saddling and riding. We usually start on a lunge line in our round pen. The student learns how to ride in the round pen by themselves. Once the riding skills improve, we move on to our sand arena. In between the arena and round pen sessions, the students get to ride on the ranch. On our ranch, we have hills, flat and rocky terrain or we take them on a ride outside of the property on a quiet country road with some very nice scenery. We can also tour the local neighborhood.

We are also building an obstacle course to teach both horse and rider how to navigate minor to more difficult obstacles. We have various sizes of ponies and horses for different skill levels and ages.

Lesson disciplines:

Horsemanship, Beginner lessons, English Riding, Obstacles, Trail Riding, Liberty/Trick training.

We DO NOT train barrel racing, roping, reigning or cutting. ​

Pony Time and Ranch Days :
All ages, $60 for 60 minutes for one pony. Kids get to hang out, pet, brush, feed, ride and decorate (with provided hair bows, stickers, feather boas, etc.) our pony or horse! During this time they will have a chance to meet the other horses, Sunny the donkey and even see and interact with the chickens and other farm animals.
Add on paint a pony for $40 (weather dependent).

Photo Shoots:
You can rent our ponies and horses as well as our ranch for your photoshoots today! At Southerly Winds Ranch, we have large oak trees for that perfect shaded shot, a creek, barn, rock formations, fairy woods and beautiful sunsets!

Ranch Photoshoot:
Take your photos with our white, blue eyed, 54 inch unicorn or our 40 inch pony unicorn. Capture your magical shot at Southerly Winds Ranch.
